What is Eorzea Havok Racing?

Eorzea Havok Racing is best described as a perfect combination of fighting and brawling mixed in with a race! Taking out your opponents to reach the goal first! Violence is not only expected, but it's encouraged! We don't leave you with only your trusty axe or sword to win, though! The EHR provides convenient items throughout the race to help aid your victory, or simply take it away from your opponents! So go ahead, racer! Fight your heart out, win those races and CAUSE SOME HAVOK!

RULES OF THE RACE

1. Each racer starts out with 40 total HP! Protect this at all costs cause if at any point your HP reaches 0 your are OUT OF THE RACE!2. Before the race begins, each racer will roll a /random 20 to determine your starting positions! These are very important when it comes to what you can do in the race so remember that!3. The way that your positions are determined in each checkpoint is by your total movement! This is done each turn by a /random 20 roll. You will always roll at least 1 movement roll each turn!4. The winner of the race is decided when the group reaches the goal checkpoint! The person with the highest total movement score at this point wins the game!5. At the beginning of the race and at 2 predetermined points during the race, you will reach an item checkpoint! During this stop, including the start of the race, you will only make a movement roll! The items are decided on a /random 4 roll for everyone at the start of the race! At the specified checkpoints, /random 4 is only used for 1st place, while everyone behind the leader rolls /random 6!

Items

The items in question are as follows:1. Gun - An attack that can hit up to 2 positions away. Works the same as a normal attack. Gun does 10hp damage.2. Oil Slick - Using this removes the move dice from the person positioned directly behind you. If they used double movement this turn, it removes the LOWEST dice roll from their movement.3. Flamethrower - An attack that hits up to 2 positions away and hits both targets in said direction (either behind you or in front of you) Flamethrower does 10hp damage.4. Nitro Boost - Using this give you double movement rolls AND allows you to make a melee attack on someone.5. Mortar - You take no movement dice this turn and make a single damage roll on one target up to 3 positions away. Mortar does 20hp damage. (Usable only if you are not in first after the first round)6. Homing Rocket - This item specifically targets first place, removing 1 of their movement die from this round. (Usable only if you are not in first after the first round)

Movement

With items 1-4 chosen, the race begins! Starting with the person in the last position, moving upwards, they then determine what actions they would like to perform. These are your available options each round:1. [Movex2] - You roll 2 movement dice this turn only.2. [Move + ATK] - You roll 1 movement dice and roll a melee attack on the person either directly in front of you or behind you. This can also be used to counteract someone attacking you, instead avoiding their attack and instead hitting them. Only the highest roll will deal damage! Melee attacks do 10hp damage.3. [Move + Item] - You roll 1 movement dice and use your respective item, doing what the item specifies. If you do not have an item, this option is unavailable to you.4. [Move + Evade] - You roll 1 movement dice and attempt to evade an attack made on you. Rolling higher than the dice rolled against you stops the attack. If you are being targeted by multiple attacks, this is the only way to avoid taking any damage.Note: You can always choose to take the damage you are receiving to do something else. It's a risk you take cause if you don't either attack the target attacking you or try to evade, they will automatically hit you, losing that hp. In the end, it's a strategy you have to consider when making your move.

Race Flow

There will be two item pickups during the race at specified checkpoints. If you still have your item on you when you reach the item pickup, you DO NOT pick up a new one and instead keep what you already have. You may only roll for a new item if you currently do not have one, so make sure if you're happy to keep what you have when you reach there, or make sure you use your item before that specific checkpoint. At these checkpoints, your position determines if you roll /random 4 or /random 6. First place only rolls /random 4, while everyone else rolls /random 6 to determine what item you receive. At the end of each round, the move totals will be added up and your new positions in the race will be given before the next round starts.

Race Expectations

This is intended as a ROLEPLAY event! Type out what you're doing as it happens! This includes how you target another racer, how you move about the track, what happens when you get hit, etc. This is not meant to be a quick race format, with races taking upwards of an hour to complete in some cases.Everything with this is meant to be a fun experience for ALL! No bigotry, hate, or anything of the like will be tolerated! Don't be the one that ruins the experience for everyone when you complain about rng!
